Hike Savage Wildlife Preserve with Great Works' board member Rich Goodenough and William Fogg library partner, Laurel Sabera. Savage Wildlife Preserve features 26 acres of meadows and woodland on the Eliot/ South Berwick border, with water views of both Shorey's Brook and the Salmon Falls River. On August 13th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, Dr. Anne Perry will be recreating her stage role as Sarah Jane Farmer, the founder of the historic Green Acre, in Eliot. Dr. Perry, principal author of Green Acre on the Piscataqua and one of the foremost scholars researching the life of Sarah Farmer has given numerous talks and presentations throughout the country.  She will be on hand at the William Fogg Library to greet and talk about Sarah’s life and aspirations.
