Story Times



Summer Story Time Schedule

June 23rd- August 11th 

Please call or come in to register!


Lapsit Squirm & WiggleFor infants birth to 18 months

Tuesdays: 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. with Hilary

Through board books, rhymes, songs and creative movement, this story time will enhance and nurture your child’s curious mind and developing mobility.

Preschool – For ages 3-6 years

Tuesdays: 10:30-11:15 a.m. with Hilary

Each story time is based around a theme and includes picture books, flannel board stories, fingerplays and a craft. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join the program or make it an independent activity (please do not leave the library).


Lego Picture


*Beginning June 22nd:  Mondays 1:00-8:00 p.m.

All ages are welcome to have fun with our new collection of LEGOs. There is no pre-registration required for this program.  Please do not bring your own LEGOs.   We have plenty for all.   We’ll start off with a fun challenge question then have free play.  The LEGO creations made each week will be on display in the Kent Room until the following Tuesday.  Check out our Facebook page to see the photos!

Summer Family Movie Night
Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Movies that will be shown this summer include:
6/24: Big Hero 6
7/1: Escape From Planet Earth
7/8: Frozen
7/15: Paddington
7/22: The Pirate Fairy
7/29: Night At the Museum
8/5: Mr. Peabody and Sherman
8/12: Up

Wear your pajamas and bring a pillow. Popcorn and water will be served. Please bring a covered beverage container.



Board Game Afternoons
*Beginning July 2nd: Thursdays 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Join us for an afternoon of fun board game play. Games will include Twister, Candy Land, Connect Four, Chutes and Ladders and many more. All ages welcome!

Thanks to the Friends of the William Fogg Library, we are able to offer memberships to these area museums and attractions, and as a result, get free museum passes. Please sign up for a pass at the front desk.
