Lapsit Squirm & WiggleFor infants birth to 18 months

Tuesdays: 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. with Hilary Through board books, rhymes, songs and creative movement, this story time will enhance and nurture your child’s curious mind and developing mobility.

Toddler Time- For Ages 18-36 months

Tuesdays: 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. with Hilary This program encourages children and their grownups to actively participate in stories, songs and finger plays. Movement activities enriched with props will facilitate imagination and growth. A simple craft will also be provided.

Preschool- For Ages 3-6 years old

Tuesdays: 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. with Katie
Thursdays: *9:30 to 10:15 a.m. with Katie *New Time!!!

Each story time is based around a theme and includes picture books, flannel board stories, fingerplays and a craft. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join the program or make it an independent activity (please do not leave the library).

Books-to-Grow-On Reading Challenge

Help us celebrate Read Across America with our 2016 Books-to-Grow-On Reading Challenge! Starting on February 2nd read the 20 chosen books on the reading form and pick 10 of your own favorites to read. On March 2nd come into the library for the Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Birthday celebration to trade your completed form in for a prize and a free book!

LEGO CLUB

Lego Picture

  Mondays 3:00-7:30 p.m.

All ages are welcome to have fun with our new collection of LEGOs. There is no pre-registration required for this program.  Please do not bring your own LEGOs.   We have plenty for all.   We’ll start off with a fun challenge question then have free play.  The LEGO creations made each week will be on display in the Kent Room Saturday.  Check out our Facebook page to see the photos! Thank you to the LEGO Foundation and the Maine State Library for donating the LEGOs!

Book To Movie Young Reader Group
How to Train Your Dragon
Wednesday, February 3rd @4:00-5:30 pm
Wednesday, February 24th @ 4:00-5:30 pm

This group will meet the first and last week of the month. The chosen book will be distributed at the beginning of the month and the movie will be watched the last week of the month. Crafting and writing projects are also included. This group is for children ages 7-12 years old. Sign-up is required.

dover-museum Thanks to the Friends of the William Fogg Library, we are able to offer memberships to these area museums and attractions, and as a result, get free museum passes. Please sign up for a pass at the front desk.
