Laura Henry is the John F. and Dorothy H. Magee Associate Professor of Government at Bowdoin College. She has a PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Henry is the author ofRed to Green: Environmental Activism in Post-Soviet Russia (Cornell 2010) and the co-editor of Russian Civil Society: A Critical Assessment(M.E. Sharpe 2006). She has been a Fulbright scholar and a U.S. Embassy Policy Specialist in Russia. Dr. Henry’s current research examines how Russia and other emerging regional powers respond to global governance on environmental and human rights issues.
